In the words of Nine Days, this is the story of a girl ... no, wait, two girls. We are two very different and yet very similar people. We've been friends for what feels like forever (15 years!) even though we live almost 1,000 miles apart now. The Internet, particularly AOL instant messenger, Ravelry and this blog, helps keep us close.
Amie spends her days at her usually-mundane job as a reporter for a small weekly newspaper in Kentucky. When she isn't interviewing people, attending council meetings or writing news articles, she is usually knitting (of course) or playing World of Warcraft. Or doing something equally nerdy, like knitting something inspired by World of Warcraft.
Amie's blog posts appear, unsurprisingly, as posts by Amie. You can find her on Ravelry as pixieaep.
Jessica is a stay-at-home mom to two adorable little boys. In between taking care of them (and her husband), keeping her house clean and cooking delicious meals for her family, she still somehow manages to find time for knitting -- a true miracle. I don't know how she does it all.
She blogs here as JessicaRose. You can find her on Ravelry as JessicaRose.
